Federal Census for Atascosa County, the family has been joined by sons Frank and John and by a female infant unnamed on the census.
Two more children, daughters Nettie and Mary, join the family in the 1880s.
By 1900, George F. Hindes has relocated his family (at this time consisting of wife Caroline and daughters Nettie and Mary) to Frio County, Texas. In 1910, the census shows George and Caroline living in Pearsall, Frio County, Texas. All of the children have left their home by this time.
In 1920, George and Caroline are still living in Frio County, but widowed daughter Nettie Hindes Windrow has rejoined her parents, bringing with her daughter Maurine Windrow and son Mercer Windrow.
